XMPI 2.2 Release Notes

XMPI has been updated to both work with the LAM 6.3 series and have a GNU ./configure setup (rather than the manual editing of the Makefile that it had before). The XMPI 2.2 version does not work with the 6.2 series of LAM.

Use XMPI 2.1.2 if you must use XMPI with LAM 6.2b. No further development is planned for XMPI 2.1.2.

XMPI 2.2 can be obtained from the LAM download site. It is an X11/Motif application that requires either Motif or Lesstif libraries.
