LAM does not support creating XMPI traces for MPI_Type_set_name and
XMPI doesn't know how to display them. It would be a fair amount of
work to add support, which does not fit with our release schedule for
LAM 7.1.2. It will be added to the list of features for our next
feature release of LAM. I can't say when that will be, as we are
working heavily on Open MPI as our research project right now.
