Hi -

XMPI 2.2.6 does not support the LAM 7.0 and 7.1 series of releases.
There is not a stable release of XMPI that supports LAM 7.0 or 7.1.
There is a beta release that supports LAM 7.0.6, XMPI 2.2.3b8. You can
download the source at:

   http://www.lam-mpi.org/beta/
