Hello,<br><br>I suspect this is a really simple answer to my question.&nbsp; I&#39;m a linux newbie and I&#39;m unable to build Lam/MPI on my ubuntu machine.&nbsp; When I cd to the unpacked lam directory (contents listed below), I execute &#39;make&#39; as instruction by the installation document.&nbsp; Then I get the following error:
<br><br>:~/Desktop/lam-7.1.4$ make<br>make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.&nbsp; Stop.<br><br>Any suggestions?&nbsp; It looks like I&#39;m using the GNU make version.<br><br>Thanks,<br>BW<br><br>~/Desktop/lam-7.1.4$
