I have no idea. But the earliest release announcement archived at http://www.lam-mpi.org/MailArchives/lam-announce/ is from March of 2001, and that's announcing LAM 6.4a and 6.5.

So 6.3.2 is 10 years old. Yowza!

Who knows; it might work -- but I'd probably be surprised if there isn't bit rot in there that would prevent it from working.

The latest.

The 1.4.x series is the "super stable" series and is time-tested. The 1.5.x series is the new "feature" series that has all the newest, coolest stuff, but it's still getting proven out in the real world. Pick which one you prefer.

Ping over on the OMPI user's list and the Oracle people can probably point you to specific Solaris stuff if you need it.
