I download the library open MPI and during the make phase i've got this message:

These compile errors are within the ROMIO sub-component of LAM -- you
should be able to disable it with a configure command line argument (I
don't remember it offhand -- use "./configure --help" to find it).
Alternatively, you might try Open MPI -- LAM/MPI is pretty
unmaintained these days...
