We have been using LAM 7.1.1/MPI (C++) with VASP successfully for
several years with no problems. For no *apparent* reason, today, upon
executing the 'lamboot lam_nodes' command we began receiving the error:
"LAM 7.1.1/MPI 2 C++/ROMIO - Indiana University
base: cannot find process schema (null): No such file or directory"
followed by the standard error about not being able to find the LAM
Help file.
We have a Mac OS X Xserve topology running OS X server 10.4.7 on
PPC5s. All customary issues have been reviewed (paths, etc...) Any
input or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
