As the error message suggests, you need to install a C++ compiler on your
machine in order to install LAM/MPI. Generally, the compiler is called
g++-<something>.rpm, but that varies from distribution to distribution.
Installing a C++ compiler is a bit beyond the scope of this mailing list,
unfortunately.
