Subject: LAM: On the way for LAM/MPI installation

Daer All

First of all sorry for posting big output. I
just trying to install LAM/MPI on RHEL 4 by LAM 7.1.4
version . But this shows an error which may meant that
C++ compiler is not installed. Then I checked for "
rpm -qi gcc " which says ok it is installed. But when
I say " rpm -qi g++ " then it says no it is not
installed. the what to do . Plz tell. I need help.

and you choose not to install g++, or disable C++ support in your lam build?
