Hi all:
I am testing OpenMPI with lamtests-7.1.4 on RHEL5.2 Server SnapShot3. Since openmpi-1.2.5-2 and lam-7.1.2-11 have been shipped in RHEL images. I installed them directly. Then I downloaded lamtests-7.1.4 from http://www.lam-mpi.org/7.1/download.php. But I failed to run make for lamtest. Can lam-7.1.2 work together with lamtests-7.1.4?
Following are my steps for LAM:
1. install openmpi-1.2.5-2 and lam-7.1.2-11. mpirun and mpicc are links to openmpi interfaces.
2. create LAM user lam on all the machines. su lam
3. setup ssh to all the nodes without password
4. unzip the tarball on all the nodes
5. create bhost/boot_schema file

6. lamboot boot_schema
7. ./configure on all the nodes
8. make
