Brian,

     Thanks for your post. However, the problem is that most LAM
installs in our data center clusters seem to be in Lam 7.0.6.
GCC-built Lam7.06 works fine. The reason that I try ICC-built is to
see if there is any performance improvement. On the other hand,
GCC 3.44 and later seem to have some issues with STL memory
allocation. Do you think I will have the compatibility issues if the
code is compiled with Lam 7.1.4 and it will run on the cluster nodes
with Lam 7.0.6? Thanks,
