Hi all -

I posted a beta release of LAM/MPI 7.1.4 (b3) this afternoon. The
release fixes a couple of issues discovered over the last couple of
weeks, since 7.1.4b2 was built:

   - Properly escape SSI parameters and pass SSI parameters to
lamboot when using mpiexec. Also use /tmp or $TMPDIR for
the app schema. Thanks to Sam Steingold for bringing this
     to our attention.
   - Allow user to disable building the TM or SLURM boot ssi
module, even if the libraries are available on the system.
Thanks to Jens Klostermann for bringing this to our
     attention.
   - Fix compile issue on NetBSD 3.0 and later. Thanks to Aleksey
     Cheusov for the patch.

The beta release can be downloaded from:

   http://www.lam-mpi.org/beta/

Unfortunately, since the LAM/MPI team is almost entirely dedicated to
Open MPI development, we lack the resources to do the extensive level
of testing we'd really prefer for a release. Therefore, we would
appreciate any feedback (positive or negative) on the beta release.

Thanks,

Brian
