I'm thinking of migrating our small cluster from lam-6.5.9 to openmpi. Just downloaded and installed openmpi and it's fine on a Slackware 11 box. This is in as much as I can do mpicc and mpirun - no problem.
But I have a bit of a dumb question so please bear with me. I've not found anywhere any details of booting the cluster. So my question is: Do I just lamboot in the normal way and openmpi effectively replaces mpirun, mpicc etc - or have I missed something entirely fundamental?
