The installation guide says, "Currently supported options are pthreads,
solaris, and no." I tried '--with-threads=pthreads', and the configure
script says,
checking for type of thread support... configure: WARNING: "*** You have specified a thread type that I do not"
configure: WARNING: "*** understand. Valid options are posix and solaris"
configure: error: "*** Can not continue."
This is probably a change that didn't make it into the installation guide.
