Hello,
It sounds like X11 forwarding is not getting properly setup. Are you
using ssh? If so and you do not need X11 forwarding, you can disable
it by adding the -x flag to ssh. See:
http://www.lam-mpi.org/faq/category4.php3#question14
for details how. If this does not work for you, please send the
output of `lamboot -d`.
