It looks like we have a problem using the config cache feature of
Autoconf with LAM. I believe if you skip using the config cache
feature, everything will work just fine. Given that LAM/MPI is in
maintenance mode and this would kind of be a pain to fix, it's
unlikely we'll fix this in the near future.
