Hi,

I tried to install lam-7.1.2 on Redhat Linux 9. After
running "./configure" (it takes a lot of time), I ran
"make" and "make install" commands. In the outputs of
those two, there were some "error" messages. I wrote
"locate lamboot", "locate mpicc", "locate mpirun" and
they all failed.

Since the installation failed (I could not understand
the reason), I tried to install an old version,
lam-6.5.6. The same thing happened, the outputs of
"make" and "make install" commands included some
"error" messages.

Now, I want to uninstall both versions and make a
succesful installation. Which commands should I run?
And what should I do if the installation fails again?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Regards,

DUYGU
