Can you be more specific? Which files are you referring to, when you
ask how how libcr.h is being included? Are you talking about your own
application, or LAM itself?

libcr.h belongs to BLCR, not LAM - you should not need to include it in
your own applications if you are using LAM's checkpoint/restart
functionality.

If LAM is not detecting your BLCR installation, you may need to set
CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS so the compiler can find it. Something like this
might work for bash:

export LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -L$BLCR_PREFIX/lib"
export CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS -I$BLCR_PREFIX/include"
