Just for completeness and Info:
The following Variable, like described by Jeff normally
is set automagic by lam/mpi:
Just set LAM_MPI_SESSION_SUFFIX to LSB_JOBID ( unique Integer )
For "older" lam/mp Versions you get the same effect by setting this Variable
by hand.
I referred to this Variable because part of discussion was about "automatic
detection of bacth system".
This Variable is only good and needed if you have more then one
lam/mpi parallel Job per Node via LSF / SGE / PBS.
Then the batch System needs to know which lamd to kill at Jobs end, else all
jobs would terminate.
Actual lam/mpi sets this Variable atomagic for all three major batch systems
so no need for action for any actual version !
This variable has no effect related to the lamrsh / ssh discussion.
a complete answer / solution wrt ssh / lamrsh / lsgrun
was already detailed by someone in a previous mail if
someone needs LSF without allowing ssh ....
