FWIW, that's probably still on the web site mainly by accident. We
typically leave older versions in a series on the web site only for a
little while and then eventually remove them. We have the last versions
of several series available (6.5, 7.0, and 7.1) and try to encourage
using those, since they have the most up-to-date bug fixes, etc.

We do encourage everyone to move up to LAM/MPI 7.1.2 (particularly new
installation) because there's a boatload of fixes and other minor
improvements. Are you constrained to use 7.1.1 for some reason, or can
you upgrade?
