I built from source being as the binary package gave me nothing usable.
the only config options were
./configure --without-fc --with-romio-flags=-DNO_AIO
I realize the romio-flags should not be required but upon rebuild tried a "just
in case" approach. I currently have some functionality from the build but am
not sure as to the purpose of the liblam_totalview.so
