Bogdan's absolutely correct - it's hard to support something we
didn't write ;). Do you know where that mpirun.lam script comes from
or what is in it? I'm guessing it's part of your local SGE
installation, but it's not something I'm familiar with, especially n
that usage.

The error message is simply saying that the executable couldn't be
found and executed. I'm not sure why it's looking for mpitest.o when
you said you were trying to run mpitest.x - that's a bit suspicious.
As for the path, that usually means that LAM couldn't find mpitest.o
in your PATH and so defaulted to trying to look for it in mpirun's
current working directory. It looks like your mpirun.lam script is
setting the current working directory to that system installation
path, hence the error.
