I mentioned the "-xW" option as the _bad_ one. In any case, nowhere in
your messages it is specified the compiler; this option is specific to
the Intel compiler. If you don't use the Intel compiler, then a
similar option might exist for the compiler that you use, but this is
something that you have to find out by yourself.

If you are not using the mpirun binary provided by LAM/MPI, it's not
easy to get support from us - we have no idea what the mpirun.lam
binary or script does.

The path shown seems to be part of a system directory, with an
installation of SGE 6. I think that 'mpitest.o' is not part of the
normal SGE distribution, so we are again not able to help you.
It might be a better idea to talk to some system administrator or
power user at your Uni.
