Hi;
When I was trying to install and use BLCR I begun to look
for informations sur le web, mainly because I had found problems
to install and use it. One of these informations was that BLCR (version
0.4.2, the latest) doesn´t work properlly with 2.6.15 kernels.
Did you install without problems BLCR on your system? Their
modules are running (blcr_imports.ko, blcr_vmadump.ko and
blcr.ko) the LD_LIBRARY_PATH is ok?
Did you test C/R on sequential applications without problems
using comand line as explained on "Berkley Linux Checkpointing/Restart
(BLCR) User´s Guide" available on their web page?
I don´t have a code using blcr calls. I´m using it on another
context... I don´t change my MPI applications (or sequentials). The
C/R is done by shell process. (sorry!)
