Hi;
What exactly you want to do? I´m using C/R with LAM/MPI without
problems. I suffered a little bit to find a good set of versions.
Basically, BLCR version 0.4.2, LAM/MPI 7.1.2b31, linux kernel
2.6.12.1 (C/R is strong dependently from internal kernel structures).
All set compiled with gcc 4.0. I don´t have any experience with
fortran.
For me, it was enough to install BLCR and LAM/MPI with support to
BLCR. My configure options were:
--without-fc --with-threads=posix --with-rpi=crtcp
--with-cr-blcr=/usr/local/bin/blcr-0.4.2 (directory where blcr was installed)
I´m doing C/R in this way:
- I have a shell process which turns while MPI applications is alive
(pgrep mpirun returns the pid process or nothing). It sleeps for
some seconds and makes a lamcheckpoint command.
ASC
PS: I installed on Intel 32 bits and Opteron 64 bits.
