You must build and install them with separate PATH choices. You set the
PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH for the version you want to run. It's not a
lot different from testing multiple LAM versions, except that neither
can clean up the other.
In most cases, you would likely use the same compilers for both MPI
versions. I suspect that isn't what you meant to ask.
