Hi all -

LAM 7.1.2b28, the latest beta release for the LAM 7.1.2 release, has
been posted on the LAM/MPI web page. The major change from b27 to
b28 is support for shared memory communication on Mac OS X 10.4 (aka
Tiger) when compiling 64 bit applications. Apple engineering has
helped us resolve the issues we were having with System V semaphores,
and we believe this latest change brings LAM's support for 64 bit
applications under Tiger in line with support for other
configurations of OS X. Please let us know if you run into any
issues with b28, especially on OS X with 64bit support.
