Here's the problem:

icc: Command line warning: ignoring unknown option '-m32'
ld: skipping incompatible /usr/local/cluster/torque/lib/libpbs.a when
searching
for -lpbs
ld: cannot find -lpbs

It's getting -m32 form somewhere -- are you setting the CFLAGS
environment variable, perchance?

Also, what mode was Torque compiled with? It will need to match LAM
(i.e., if Torque was compiled 32 bit, LAM will need to be compiled 32
bit, etc.).
