I am having trouble getting the configure script to run with our Lahey
FORTRAN 95 v.6.2 compiler on FC3.
This is what I get
************************ tail of ./configure output checking alignment of
bool... 1 checking alignment of int... 4 checking how to store bool in C...
unsigned char
*** Fortran Compiler

>From what I have read in the archives, people have gotten this error with
the intel fortran compiler when it creates object files with out a .o
extensions. I am not certain that is my problem, but I need to get this to
work to get our FORTRAN simulations to work on the cluster. The weird thing
is that I have followed the exact same steps on other systems using LAM-MPI
7.1.1 and Lahey FORTRAN 6.2 on FC3 without any problems.
