Hi All-

I don't know if this issue belong here.
I have 2 machines, (one as nfs-server), I am able to lamboot from both.
But when I start the "mpirun -np 8 asd.x", the computer hangs.
Everything else works fine (nfs, lamboot).
Even when i run 8 instances of asd.x just on one machine each it runs
perfectly.

I figured out that I am using 2 slightly different gigabit ethernet cards
(3C996-T(bcm5700) and 3C996B-T(bcm5701)).
When I replace the bcm5700 with another bcm5701 card, the mpirun works fine.
But I cheked on the broadcom website, it says that "bcm5701 is fully
compatible with bcm5700".
Also to make nfs work I changed the entry in /etc/modules.conf
I put
alias eth1 bcm5700
options eth1 mtu=9000
instead of
alias eth1 tg3

Does anyone has anyclue if it is card that is the issue or its the driver?
Any help is highly appreciated.

thanks-
