Hi -

It looks like the problem is that you are trying to install into the
source tree, which isn't something we had anticipated people trying to
do (it looks like your source tree is /usr/local/lam-7.1.1 and your
prefix is /usr/local/lam-7.1.1). Can you try setting your install
prefix to something other than the top of the source tarball and let us
know if that fixes your problem?
