Hi,
See doc for LAM_MPI_SOCKET_SUFFIX and other environmental
variables which allow for multiple LAM universes concurrently on a set
of machines...

Subject: LAM: lamboot problem
I have one machine with hardware that I need for all my runs. Say I
lamboot from pc 1 to this machine to start a simulation; when I lamboot
from pc 2 to this machine, it kills the pc 1 run. Generally, it seems
like the most recent lamboot to any machines will override any previous
lamboots and kill any running processes. Is that true or is there a way
to have multiple lamboots to a machine?
Thanks,
Eric
