Per the last thread about OSX and gfortran:
This morning, I discovered one additional place in our configure script
that needed fixing for the OSX and gfortran issue (i.e., using the
user-provided $LDFLAFS and $LIBS), which means that 7.1.2b21 didn't
fully fix the issue. Sorry. :-(
I just committed the fixes now and will upload b22 shortly
(http://www.lam-mpi.org/beta/).
Also, I have heard rumors that there may have been gfortran 4.0 builds
for OSX that have fixed this issue (remember: the changes that I did
for LAM's b21 and b22 are workarounds for the gfortran compiler bug).
I haven't confirmed this, but if you're a fortran programmer on OS X
Tiger, it's probably worth checking into...
