Hi Karima,
locate the path where the lamboot command is installed and then make sure
that you have access rights to the path.
you can type for example
>>locate lamboot
for example my lam is at "/opt/lam/bin/lamboot"
I can then simply add the path "/opt/lam/bin" to my path so that I can have
access to all lam commands (I guess you will find the other commands there)
Adding to your path under bash shell
1. locate a file with name ".bashrc"
2. open it with an editor like vim
and add the following
>> export PATH=$PATH:/opt/lam/bin
3. save it
4. open a new bash window and check whether you have access to LAM/MPI
commands like lamboot.
You can also look at your lam configuration settings with the laminfo
command.
If your installation is new, I would advise that you go through the
extensive lam documentation and also run lamtests. It might help you know
how your lam insatallation is be working.
