Jason,
I have not run any of the EM64T machines.. but I can use the Intel Compiler
8.1 to produce 64-bit binaries even when compiling on an Opteron machine.
There is a special release of 8.1 for EM64T/AMD64 that you need to make sure
you have. It will only create 64-bit binaries.
LS-Dyna has just released a binary for EM64T. They have had an AMD64 binary
for quite some time. I would imagine they would run on either platform.. but
since they have different ones for each, I would suggest using them as they
support different compilers on the two platforms (AMD = PGI, EM64T = INTEL).
HTH,
Pete.
