7.1.1 has been around for quite a while -- it's Libtool 1.5.8.

Yes, it looks like liblam failed to be created successfully in the
output.

No problem. Just due to other scheduling, it's unlikely that 7.1.2
will be released in the next 2 weeks. :-\
If you need to get a version of LAM running on your Solaris machines,
you might want to try the latest 7.1.2 beta, as it is made with
essentially a patched version of Libtool 1.5.14.
