Can you specify what didn't work with zsh? We did fix one bug with
regards to ssh and some sh-flavored shells (there was a missing space
in a command that is executed remotely), but I'd like to verify that
this is the only problem that required fixing.

I agree (it's weird). I'm sure there's a reason, but it's probably not
worth following up on unless your 7.1.x builds do the same thing.
