Yes, I was working on LAM 7.1.1. Customer requirements and all... I've
actually gotten suprisingly far with the few changes I've made. Not
entirely there yet, but...
But, to answer your question, yes I have also tried the latest beta
(7.1.2b20).
I've found issues with it as well, (won't build completely) but I want to
gather more info on building it so I can make a reasonably coherent and
informative description of what the issue really is. (Although I can say
it's something with libtool). From my perspective (not really knowing
much of autoconf or internals of libtool), there's an option not being
passed to the compiler... But I'll save more details for when I do a full
write-up, which should include my ./configure options, etc.
And, FYI, I'm using PGI 6.0 (64-bit). After I get that done, I'll see if
the 32-bit compiler gives me any grief.
