humm...
What version of LAM/MPI are these machines running? Is it possible to
upgrade the version of LAM/MPI installed on this (these) machine(s)?

In any case, you need to verify that the C++ Bindings are installed
properly. You may want to chat with your system administrator about
this.

You can also see exactly what mpiCC is trying to pass to your compiler
with the -showme command:
$ mpiCC -showme
Check to make sure the include and lib paths are correct. That may help
narrow down the problem.
