I'm afraid that I don't know anything about the EDA tools -- do they
use MPI? Were they compiled with the same version of LAM that you have
installed? If they were, the mpirun command is documented in both the
LAM/MPI User's Manual and its man page (see mpirun(1)). You might want
to look at the quick start tutorial in the User's Guide, for example.
I unfortunately don't really know how one would invoke the EDA tools
with mpirun (I assume that the "tool script" you mention has something
to do with EDA...?); each vendor does this differently (e.g., some
expect the user to invoke mpirun manually -- others tend to hide the
invocation of mpirun in lower-level scripts and/or executables).
You'll need to check the EDA documentation for this kind of
information.
