So Phil let the cat out of the bag. :-)
There's now an MPI community wiki site at the following URL:
http://www.mpi-comm-world.org/
It just opened up today, so there's little content there yet. Go
contribute something! (there's a password required to edit, solely to
prevent spammers from defacing the site -- mail wiki_at_[hidden]
to get it)
The site is intended to be MPI-implementation-agnostic. Although it's
fine to put implementation-specific stuff on there, the intent is that
this does not become a LAM/MPI-only site, or an Open MPI-only site, or
an FT-MPI-only site, or an MPICH-only site, or...
The intent is for people to put stuff up "about MPI" (which is
admittedly -- and intentionally -- a pretty broad scope). Here's some
examples -- but don't let these limit your imagination:
- practical programming tips
- mini-tutorials
- how-to's for common parallel programming techniques
- how to write portable MPI applications
- what you wish you had known when you started using MPI
- ...etc.
It's for the community, by the community.
Enjoy.
