Anything's possible, although usually you would see errors at link time
or compile time. That being said, it is possible that there is
something wrong with the installation (I would bet that it is with your
code, but one never knows...). I would see if there are any test cases
included with the scalapack source (I honestly don't remember off the
top of my head) - that would give you one way to verify your setup.
