ROMIO's configure script uses strings instead of nm to find symbol
names, which just doesn't work well on OS X. I've committed a fix to
the Subversion trunk and 7.1 branches.
It should be in the nightly tarball that gets built around 3:00
tonight, and will definitely be in the 7.1.2 release.
