After hearing how perplexed people can be when first setting up to use the
x86-64 operating system, I'm somewhat amazed that I couldn't find a useful
introduction to 32- vs 64-bit software setup. It shouldn't be so difficult
for someone in an organization without so many review hurdles. Maybe some
of it could go into a LAM FAQ.
