I'm sorry - I flubbed that last answer. Your program looks basically
correct. Are you sure your app schema is correct? We print a useful
error message if your app schema is not found, but just the generic
"Invalid argument" error message (like the one above) if there is
something wrong with the app schema.

For instance, if I have an app schema with a node specifier that
doesn't exist, it will print the "Invalid argument" error message.
Same if I specify a binary that doesn't exist (you might want to try
full paths to make sure the correct binary is found.

mpirun gives much more useful error messages when it is having trouble
with an app schema, so it might be useful to do "mpirun appschem" and
see if mpirun complains about anything in the schema file.
