Hello all,
I have built lam-7.1.1 on OS X with IBM's xlf. Everything seems to
build okay, and I have been able to lamboot and verify that lamd is
running on all nodes, but the lamtests won't pass the configure step.
This doesn't seem to be related to the FLIBS problem mentioned in the
manual (but maybe I misunderstand).
I am attaching the following:
1) config.log : from the original build
2) lam_config.h
3) laminfo.all : output of laminfo -all
4) lamtests.config.log : the config.log file from lamtests
5) lamtests.config.out : the output of lamtests/configure
Briefly, the configure script cannot continue after:
checking if have Fortran MPI bindings... no
checking if supposed to have Fortran MPI bindings... yes
configure: error: Cannot continue
I noticed in the lamtests/configure script reference to the F77
environment variable. I had set the FC variable for the original build,
but not the FC variable. Setting the F77 variable to xlf didn't help
the lamtests/configure .
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
