Dear collegues in mpi field:
My name is Zhiyi Li, a research assistant in Viginia Tech. We try
to run R and Rmpi package on IBM Linux Cluster supercomputers. The
system environment is that we use IBM Linux Clsuter, all jobs are
submitted by PBS script to PBS queue. R is a software tools for
Bioinformatics. Rmpi is a package of R. It make R parallel. We
installed lam-mpi, R, they all running. However I also installed
Rmpi on Linux Cluster. There is problem like this:
We activate R, no problem.
In R environment, >library(Rmpi)
Error: Rmpi is installed.
Segment Fault.
We checked linking stuff, no fault. lammpi can run and lamboot
environment is available by PBS script.
Anyone have any idea about such fault? How to solve it
