Hi,
  I need some clarification regarding LAM hostfile.
In the hostfile, I specify

mymachine.somthing.edu cpu=2

My understanding was that the LAM environment will allow only 2 LAM-MPI
processes to run in the machine. But when I tried 'mpirun -np 4 a.out' , it
still ran with 4 processes.

Can anyone help with my mis-understanding.
