Hello all,
I am currently bashing my way through a small cluster setup in our lab. My
current (and I think final hurdle) is that I need to stop shorewall to
allow the host to connect. I am unfamiliar with shorewall but none of the
documentation I have seen shows me how to do a rule like "allow everything
from this IP" which is what I *THINK* I need to get lam to work on my system.
Has anyone had any experience in configuring shorewall to work on the LAM
client machines?
Details
servers and clients run Mandrake 10
server serves /home (rw) and /usr/local(ro) via nfs share [this works with
shorewall up or down]
ssh2 with passphrase/keys [again works irrespective of shorewall]
Lam7 on default directory (I think /usr/local , I only compiled once on
host and it seems to work on all)
Thoughts?
Cheers
Mike
