I'm unfamiliar with Whitebox Linux.

However, it sounds like it automatically added "-debuginfo" to the
first RPM name (that's not part of LAM's naming system). Specifically,
it shouldn't be "lam-debuginfo", it should be "lam". I have a dim
recollection that some versions of RPM will automatically create
"debug" versions of RPMs (e.g., compile with -g, not strip binaries /
executables, etc.). There must be a way to turn that off; you should
probably poke through your distro's RPM docs and see how to disable
this feature.

Alternatively, we can make the base LAM RPM provide the name "lam" so
that even if it gets named "lam-debuginfo", it will satisfy the
dependencies of the other RPM's. I can probably do that starting with
LAM 7.1.2.
